Datuk Jared Lim

Non-executive Chairman

  • Datuk Jared Lim, TREMs Non-executive Chairman, brings over 20 years of expertise in business leadership, technology innovation and global expansion. As the Chairman of Tremendous Asia Partners Group (TAP), a Kuala Lumpur-based private equity firm focused on lifestyle businesses, he has driven portfolio companies to extraordinary growth rates of over 300% and surpassed a cumulative value of USD 1 B. In 2020, Datuk Jared redirected his focus to Entertainment and Technology, leading TREM to expand its footprint across more than ten countries, achieving remarkable success with over 3 million tickets sold for 250 shows. TREM has acquired diverse valuable IPs and media technologies through strategic investments, establishing itself as a market leader. Datuk Jared’s comprehensive understanding of the intersection between media, technology and finance has set a benchmark for the industry and solidified TREMs position as a frontrunner in the market.

    Datuk Jared Lim holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Accounting from the University of Bristol, where he achieved academic distinction. He furthered his education by earning a First Class Master’s in Finance from the University of Hull, attained the highly regarded Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) qualification, and obtained his Diploma in Digital Transformation from Emeritus Institute of Management in collaboration with MIT and Columbia University.

Chantal Prud'homme

CEO / Head of Live

  • Chantal Prud’homme, the Managing Director of TREM oversees the company’s live business including the planning, promotion and production of all live events encompassing theatrical performances, exhibitions and immersive experiences. With a career rooted in the entertainment industry, Chantal’s journey began at MTV International in New York, where she played a pivotal role in expanding MTV affiliates across Germany, Italy and Australia. She later established Prud’homme Productions in 1998, focusing on talent relations, programming, communications, creative productions and event management. In 2004, Chantal joined MTV Japan Inc. as the Executive Producer overseeing creative and production processes and contributing to the development of MTV Japan. Her experience led her to Singapore where she assumed the role of Vice President at MTV Asia Networks, eventually becoming the Group CEO of TREM in 2018.

    Chantal graduated with an Associates in Science from Ahuntsic College, Quebec, Canada, in 1984. She furthered her education by taking courses in Film and Communications at Hunter College and the School of Visual Arts in New York City.

Ian Chin

Country Director, China

  • Ian Chin brings nearly 20 years of extensive knowledge and expertise in the Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT) industry with a notable career in executive management positions across China. As the former COO of BesTV, the largest IPTV company in China, Ian managed the company’s profit and loss as a publicly listed entity. He led a team of over 1,000 staff across 25 provincial branch offices and achieved remarkable milestones generating an impressive annual revenue of over RMB 3 B, bringing to the market new consumer products and services that leverage emerging technologies. He also forged strategic partnerships with top global telecom companies, including China Telecom, China Mobile, Orange, Indonesia Telkom, XL and Telekom Malaysia.

    Ian graduated from National Chung Hsing University, Taiwan, in 1994, earning a Bachelor’s degree in English. He continued his studies at the same university and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) specializing in Technology and Innovation Management in 2006.

Greg Suzuki

Country Director, Japan

Shaun Lee

Head of Direct to Consumer

  • Shaun Lee is currently the Head of Direct to Consumer for TREM. He is responsible for handling all marketing related activities including planning and strategizing marketing plans, overseeing on-going marketing initiatives and leading the marketing department.

     

    Shaun began his career with Showbiz Asia, a corporate ticketing company as a Ticketing Executive in 2013. During his tenure there, he was in charge of handling the sales ticketing systems and providing customer service.

     

    He joined TREM in 2015 and has contributed to hosting events, handling sponsorships and managing ticketing systems. As he grew within the Group, he was also put in charge of various other aspects such as planning and strategizing digital campaigns as well as handling the Group’s shows and brand image on social media.

    Shaun graduated from the Republic Polytechnic with a Diploma in Hotel and Hospitality Management in 2011 and subsequently graduated with a Bachelor of Business, Marketing from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) University in 2015.

  • Jonathan Kim is an accomplished business leader. He previously led the development of an innovative platform for SOSV, a premier venture capital firm celebrated for backing early-stage startups and assisting them in scaling. Before SOSV, he made his mark at Beyond Limits, leveraging advanced AI technologies from Caltech's Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) for NASA missions, contributing significantly to the company's 1 B + valuation. Before this, he was a Vice President at Samsung, managing the US content and service business, launching many global products, and facilitating acquisitions and investments that resulted in the integration of three companies.
     

    Jonathan has also had a transformative impact on the entertainment industry, leading digital and commercial business growth at SONY Entertainment Asia, resulting in remarkable year-over-year revenue growth. He was instrumental in establishing One-Stop China, a joint venture between Universal Music, Warner Music, and Sony Music. This venture led to the inception of Tencent Music and other legal streaming services in China. Furthermore, his leadership at Qualcomm was integral in the company's expansion in Europe and the CIS, where he led the deployment of the world's first commercial CDMA system in Moscow. He also contributed to the global expansion of a mobile service provider under SK Group, culminating in the company's NASDAQ IPO and subsequent acquisition.

    In addition to his leadership roles, Jonathan has held influential early-stage investment and advisory positions. He has advised Firstlight Media, invested in Edutech company Aicon, and been a seed investor of Fem, Inc. He played an advisory role to Quickplay and led Crosslink's USD 10 M investment in a Chinese mobile social networking service, which was later acquired for USD 125 M. 

     

    Jonathan's educational background includes an MBA from EDHEC, Paris, sponsored by France Telecom and McKinsey, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Rutgers University.

Darrin Lin

Chief Creative Director

  • With over 20 years of experience in branding and digital content development, Darrin develops and implements branding, marketing, digital strategies while spearheading licensing and merchandising initiatives. Darrin began his media and digital journey at Mad Dogs & Englishmen in New York where he worked on prominent brands like The Economist, Viacom - MTV, VH-1, Nickelodeon, Banana Republic and Time Warner. He later joined Leagas Delaney in San Francisco, contributing to North American creative campaigns for established brands such as Adidas and CNET. In 2003, Darrin joined GroundZero in Los Angeles, creating national campaigns for Disney’s X Games and Atlantis Bahamas. As an independent consultant, Darrin held key roles at Publicis Modem and Ogilvy Singapore, driving successful digital campaigns for prestigious multinational brands like BMW and L’Oréal. In 2012, he joined TAP as Creative Director and subsequently assumed hus current position in October 2021, further enhancing TREMs creative vision and strategic direction. 

    He graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Advertising, Graphic Design and Film from The School of Visual Arts in Manhattan in 1996.

Shaun Lee

Greg Suzuki

Country Director, Japan

  • Greg Suzuki, a highly accomplished professional with over 35 years of experience in the live entertainment industry, brings invaluable expertise to TREM. His successful track record spans various facets of the business including promotion, booking, management and development. Greg has demonstrated his ability to secure partnerships with renowned brands, having negotiated and signed over 300 agreements with industry giants such as Disney on Ice, Disney Live, Ringling Bros.- Barnum and Bailey Circus and George Lucas Super Live Adventure amongst others.

    In recent years, Greg served as the Managing Director at EMS Entertainment, where he excelled in promoting, marketing and booking theatrical shows and entertainment traveling exhibitions. He also managed the prestigious EMS Discoveria Center venue in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and oversaw operations at Singapore’s iconic Marina Bay Sands Theatre and Grand Theatre.

    Furthermore, Greg’s passion for the live entertainment industry extends beyond his professional achievements. He is a published author and has shared his knowledge and experience as a guest professor at esteemed institutions like the Shanghai Music Conservatory and Wuhan Jiang Huang University in China, inspiring future generations of industry professionals.

Darrin Lin
